Change of plan due to shooting outside of school

Last week, me and Adam were filming at front street and we had some actors acting with toy guns which which accidently got the poloice involved with the gun as we didn't inform them our shooting. This caused the police to inform back to school and reporting our situation in our shooting. Therefore, we got halted not to shoot outside of school lessons which i and Adam were planning to shoot our scene in Durham. This lead us to change our story to another genre into a crime scene investigation and like a detective crime solve of a murder. We are planning to shoot this with 2 or 3 actors as due to some actors are not available to shoot as they have lessons.

Shooting Scedule Problems

During a preparation in our shooting, we have a slight problem of getting our hands on the cameras which we tried to book for today's filming. The problem is that the Yr13 have not been able to hand back in the cameras that they have booked from Mrs Gibson. Therefore, we need to change our place of shooting our scene with one camera that we borrowed from sir.

Our Shooting we probably take place in Framwellgate's front street which we might shoot the chasing scene. But, one problem is that we could not use two cameras to shoot the scene at the same time to get a view of the shot in two different angles within the filming. However, we hope that our shot will not be affected by this matter as next time we film. Next time, we will book the cameras early before anyone does in case we won't have any cameras to shoot our film.

Media problems

Unfortunately, me and adam's shooting schedule is messed up due to Adam's abesences which we would need to change our time and day of our shooting!!! However, our shooting will not be affected by this cause also we will continue on our plan.

Preparing Filming

To sort out the shooting, me and adam have prepared some places to shoot. Firstly, we chose to shoot at some locations at his house and places like Front street which is just across our school, also we will be shooting in Durham which would be shot at the river's bridge near the bowling alley. Our production schedule is already prepared at the moment of when we could film our shootings. In our production schedule, i have produced a story board, and a script of our shooting which our shootings would contain some violence and non suitable viewings for younger adults. Our shooting would also contain some violent language that would be disturbing among other characters.

Me and Adam would hope there would be no problems in our shooting and continue on to shhot more if there are any more projects. We also hope that we would produce a good film for our project which would entertain all of you.

Problems faced throughout the week!

OVer the previous week and days, me and my partner were unable to film due to the problems of flat battery which caused the production of the filming to be delayed. This caused actors to to arrange another time of day to act to meet their requirement of filming on the specific day. It was hard to meet the requiremnts of the actors time as most of them are in lesson which caused us to fall back to film during after school and giving up our lunch time to film.

There are other problems faced as our camera was unable to record the footage onto the tape which caused the filming to be delayed again. However, our actors were practicing their play as they ignored the problem as they would like to film again by giving up their lunch time. The acting was fun between the actor and the production whereas my partner was entertained by the comedy as written on the script. This shows our next filming will be an entertaining production as once the the film is shown to the class.

The problem of the tape and the camera was taken back to sir to find out the problem that was caused and what caused it was the camera as it was dirty inside the recording. Therefore, sir cleaned it with a tape cleaner which solved everything as our tape had successfully recorded a footage. However, our filming was delayed to be recorded again at school.

If the filming production is finished, i would edit the footage for the film production and finish it through my free lessons which can be finished on time before the deadline.

Oh yes, forgetting to mention the actors, we have to people acting in the film as one is acting as a policeman and one is acting as a culprit. the two actors are called Keith Burn who is a Culprit and the policeman is Jack Wilson who stars in the film. In the film, it may contain voilence and foul language as it is part of the comedy rythm within the script.

Play Shoots

During over the week, my partner and i were struggling to get our play done as we did not have the suitable actors/actress into taking part of the shootings. Luckily, we've found actors who are interested to take part of the acting and things were beginning to settle as we've had everything organized for the shoot. Our shoot is shot within the school and out of the school which is based on a crime scene investigation.

As part of the shooting, it is important to have a contingency plan within the shooting to have everything organised. For instance, i would need a production manager which is going to be me to how i am going to produce a shooting of the play. This role would need me to inform the actors/actresses to wear costumes that is related to the play. For example, the play is about the crime investigation which will need actors to wear agent suits to match the play to make it look realistic to the audiences ideology of the play. In the play, i would need to provide weapons that are not real to which that it would hurt the actors but making it look more actionable with the play. This is important to produce as a role for our play to produce a master play as for my partner who is involved with the play.

A continuity manager is is important for the play as my partner, Adam, is directing the camera shot and recording how the actions of the actors/actress would match from the same area and spot at different point of view. this is important as when audiences view the play which they expect it to be creative but not a bold effect that would pu them off from viewing the play.

From the play, it was a difficult play to master as some of the actors weren't available at some shootings as it was expected to be shot on the arranged day and time which turned out a difficult way to shot the clip.Furthermore, me and my partner had delayed over the time of the shooting schedule to be expected to shot and finished. This had caused problems for our time constraints to master the play perfectly as it would have to speed up the acting of a play which could effect the quality of the acting and the art of the shots has been used.

Communicating with other actor/actress was hard as they had other lessons to study which did not filled in our expected requirements for shooting the play also some were ill that was unable to film and perform the acting that limited our chances of completing the film on time.

Task: Write up a script of my own play!

Tonight was an easy task for writing up my own script about an interrogation between the interrogators and the culprit. The script contains humours and some little violence which would be likely to happen in the interrogation.

The script is mixture of crime, comedy and mystery which is written to entertain audience to watch this play. This task was quite hard to achieve between my partner as opinions cannot be given clearly over MSN and being separate from each other to add our own opinion onto the script to be played better. In addition, my partner and I were logged onto the computer at different times which had problems with time constraints of sharing ideas discussing our tasks together.

Furthermore, my partner was on other subject tasks which he could not do both things at the same time which was quite a bit of a problem. My partner whilst doing other subject tasks was unsure what to do for his media task which was a big problem to communicate with him as i would have to explain everything from the beginning about uploading his thoughts onto a blog per week.
