UVERworld

This is UVERworld’s released single called “GO-ON”. The cover of the single is portrayed on a sky background which has the other half of the sky reflected in a vertical way. The use of the reflection of the other half of the sky with clouds signifies the reflection of the band which is refers to the name of the band’s name, UVERworld, which is pronounced as “other-world”. The use of the reflected sky emphasise that the band is derived from another dimension that brings abnormality music to the world, which is far different than any other rock music that is produced. The use of UVERworld’s logo is centred on the middle of the cover. The logo is focused on the centre that the reflections of the other sky clouds are building an angelic wings and brightness on the centre of the logo. The logo is made from the initial letters from “UVERworld” which is a U and W which is depicted as a hard metallic substance signifies that the single’s genre is produced in hard rock. The logo that is centre on the cover is an emphasis of glory and powerful as the depiction of the logo dominates above the audiences as could reach the sky.

Practice shoot

I the following summer, I would continue to do some practice shoot of my music video which I would like to experience the difference of shooting an MV and normal clip which a MV consists different use of shots and contingency also different uses of plot in the clip. For my selected music soundtrack, a rock genre, I would need to use some actions within the the shooting of the music track and MV as it would lead a relevant sense to the music also a greater understanding of the music. To do the shooting, i will be shooting during at home and during some of my free lessons remaining at school which i would strive to shoot if able to due to hamsley activity on wednesday. However, during the summer off school i will be able to a shoot a practicle clip as there are a lot of time and places that i could shoot. In addition, the disadvantage is that i am unable to shoot clips out of school lessons but i am able to shoot the clip outside when it's a summer term also having a lot of time and planning to do a shoot.

1st CD Artwork album of UVERworld

This is UVERworld’s first album to be released on the 15th February, 2006.

From this album artwork, it is first depicted as a cartoon band on the CD cover. The appearance of the cartoon bat-like has the significance of rock genre since bat wings are used for rock genres and for appearances. In addition, the use of Typography, UVERworld, is aligned on the right side of the album which uses a black font on the CD album to allow the album to stand out as the white background is significantly used as an eye catching point. The reason the use of white background is used because the brightness of white colour is able to make objects to appear more and appealing to the audiences also it allows the use of black colours to appear more appealing to attract audiences to view the CD album. Therefore, the colour of black would grab the attention and appeal the cartoon like bat to attract audiences who thinks of the cartoon as cute. The depiction of the picture also appeals more onto the audiences since the effect of the appearance depicts as a cute and devil like cartoon which also depict the version of the band as a devilish rock band. Furthermore, it also signifies that the use of cartoon by the band is much liking cartoon and devoted to it as the use for their album artwork cover.

This is the video that i have found for my music band, UVERworld, which shows and interesting use of handheld and wide angle and close ups of other members in the band. The music video also plays different use fast pace editing and contingency of their music and other members whose playing other kinds of instruments and posing in the video. The video also consists a range of superimposed video which overlaps in the clip to represent the distortion also the of fast paced video also shows a bit of a pause and then a fast pace edit to signify a distortion within the band of their loneliness. In the clip they are shown to shot in the camera by individuals to represent the distortion of their loneliness and fighting against it as they come as group of people as a band as they play their guitars to express their feelings. The use of mise-en-scene in the clip consists dark atmosphere and few lightings around the group. The use of dark lightings with the contingency of music video's fast pace editing and actions of the members displays a wide distortion within the band also creating blurs on some individuals to signify their scariest appearance that is distorted by their loneliness who fights against the pain of loneliness.

Here is the lyric of the clip to make things easier to understand:-

English Translation:

Before love says that love is, "Too heavy," rejects comprehension
And turns into hatred...

Just about everything is so, right?
In situations where you get bad penalties, there's always the reality of covering them up and faking them
In the era of distorted dilemmas
Even we, who should have made a promise together, pass by each other without noticing

I abandoned the fact
That we destroyed each other and understood each other
Is this a wreck?
Don't acknowledge me; even when I confront it
I can't escape the images from when I fell

I'll find your eyes and the warmth of your hands
Time and time again

Just about everything is so, right?
In situations where you get bad penalties, there's always the reality of covering them up and faking them
In the era of distorted dilemmas
Even we, who should have made a promise together, pass by each other without noticing

The city that won't change even if it's gone
Won't seek our salvation, right?
In the guise of someone honest
Everyone is inside of a crumbly crystal

Because I make more and more lies

Love only hurts me always...or so you whispered
You were scared of believing and cried, didn't you?
Learn your weaknesses and become strong, by believing without fear
You'll learn of true love, before it turns into hatred, right?

What I wanted
Isn't this heartless and contrived world
On the unviewable days without fragments of reason
Lowliness dwelt in my eyes that are tired of seeing

Lies that heal the heart- They exist
But it's a lie that will steal my heart, right?

Even if I'm to draw closer to love, I'll only be bitten...or so I whispered
I stopped believing and lived like that
With thoughts that I'm amazed of even if I stand up against despair
It's fine if I'm clinging onto a brief life

What I wanted
Isn't this heartless and contrived thing

A love lost in this city-
If I search for its meaning
I'll become a little better and be able to move on, right?

Music CD Package

i have came up with an idea is to use a foreign music which i have choses is from a japanese band called the "Uverworld". They are J-Rock genre which i am willingly like to use as they my favourate band since they've got good music, so i am going to use their song called the "Hakanaku mo Towa no Kanashi" for my digipak's website of the new bands music. After going all through decision, i chose not to use english as they're mostly used so i tried to use something fresh and creative for my music package and for the website. Therefore, the song would be challenging ignition to my work as it would bring freshness and creative outcome.
