1st CD Artwork album of UVERworld

This is UVERworld’s first album to be released on the 15th February, 2006.

From this album artwork, it is first depicted as a cartoon band on the CD cover. The appearance of the cartoon bat-like has the significance of rock genre since bat wings are used for rock genres and for appearances. In addition, the use of Typography, UVERworld, is aligned on the right side of the album which uses a black font on the CD album to allow the album to stand out as the white background is significantly used as an eye catching point. The reason the use of white background is used because the brightness of white colour is able to make objects to appear more and appealing to the audiences also it allows the use of black colours to appear more appealing to attract audiences to view the CD album. Therefore, the colour of black would grab the attention and appeal the cartoon like bat to attract audiences who thinks of the cartoon as cute. The depiction of the picture also appeals more onto the audiences since the effect of the appearance depicts as a cute and devil like cartoon which also depict the version of the band as a devilish rock band. Furthermore, it also signifies that the use of cartoon by the band is much liking cartoon and devoted to it as the use for their album artwork cover.

Timeless is the first full album by Japanese rock band Uverworld. The album was released on February 15, 2006. The album entered the Oricon charts 33 times and it's ranked 5th at its peak. The album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

On November 22, 2006, another edition of the album titled as Timeless (Special Edition) was released. The edition was only sold from November 22, 2006 to December 29, 2006. The edition includes a DVD containing three music videos and a thirty minute interview with the band as well as the tracks from the original release. The edition's peak ranking was at 32nd and entered the Oricon album charts 8 times.
